Steps to Work head office is based in Walsall. We have for 10 years predominantly operated in the North Black Country operating from four offices around Walsall, one in Wolverhampton and a Mobile Information Unit that operates an outreach basis. We are a second tier (subcontactor)/ small specialist provider with an annual turn over of over £5million+.

Steps to Work does not necessarily want to expand geographically, we have been set up to deliver projects and programmes that assist the resident and business communities of Walsall and Wolverhampton. As an organisation our growth is in diversity of operation rather than geographical. Our delivery interests lye within delivering as part of the Flexible New Deal contract in the North Black Country, working in parternship with A4e and Future Skills Dudley through a subcontracting arrangement. We manage and deliver 4 Multi Agency One Stops Shops in the Walsall, as well as delivering programmes that enage with NEETS at both our Wolverhampton and Walsall sites. The services we provide are specialist to our levels of expertise; end to end service delivery, post employment support, realistic work placements basic skills, motivational training and back to work training such as interview techniques. We are accredited with IS0 9001, IS0 14001, IIP Gold Status and matrix, as well as notable standards held with; Commited to Equality (C2E), Disability two ticks. Steps to Work have approval from the following awarding bodies/organisations: City & Guilds, OCR, Edexcel, ASDAN, The Chartered Institute of Environment. Through our quality review we are currently seeking to become accredited with BS25999 Business continuity.
