A Step in the right Direction, just the job for Walsall Hospice!

Steps to Work have been supporting unemployed people in Walsall for over 10 years and, sister company Starting Point Recruitment have been sourcing local jobs for local people for over 5 years. Both companies will be joining Walsall Hospice in this year’s annual Starlight Walk, September 17th at Walsall Arboretum.

Having served the Walsall community for over 10 years, Steps to Work are pleased to choose Walsall Hospice as our chosen charity of the year to support people within our area, who have life limiting illnesses. As part of the Walsall community, up to 20 Steps to Work staff and 6 Starting Point Recruitment staff will be joining forces to show our support and commitment to our area, by joining in the Starlight Walk for the new Walsall Hospice, their families and carers. Both teams will be aiming to complete 5 circuits of the Arboretum. The Steps to Work Mobile Information Unit will also be on site at the start line to help and advise anyone who is looking for work, training or advice with qualifications. Both companies are looking forward to supporting the Hospice and members of the community who we can share our experience and knowledge with. Our participation will aim to bring local services and charities together to give the residents of Walsall an outreach service right in the heart of their town.
