The Kick-start Life Awards by Black Country Training Group celebrates outstanding learners who have excelled in learning, inspired others, or achieved success for their organisation as a result of taking the Kick-start Life programme.

Steps to Work Wolverhampton have been running the Kick-start Life contract for the last 17 months and have had outstanding successes as a result of the team’s hard work, which we hope will pay off in 5th February, when the awards ceremony takes place.

Congratulations to Steve Powell, Kick-start Tutor who has been nominated for Tutor of the Year, to Steps to Work Wolverhampton, who have been nominated for BCTG Training Provider of the Year and to learner, Charlotte O’Donnell, who has been nominated for Learner of the Year. That’s 3 awards nominations for Steps to Work!

Senior Operations Manager, Trevor Codner added; “We are delighted to be shortlisted for 3 awards and it is good to know that the hard work of the team and the learners has been recognised by being nominated for such a prestigious award’

The project aims to motivate young people not in education, employment or training (NEET) and is designed to engage young people aged between 16-18 years and help them on their path to success.

Well done to the team and everyone involved, keep up the hard work!
