Steps to Work (Walsall) Ltd have been shortlisted by the LSC to tender for the above opportunity. The LSC are looking for ONE Prime Contractor to provide this service across the whole of the West Midlands (Birmingham & Solihull, The Black Country, Coventry & Warwickshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Shropshire, Staffordshire)
The aacs would bring together a core offer of labour market focused careers and skills information and advice to individuals on careers and skills, and a strong focus on identifying the barriers to sustainable employment and progression, and organising welfare and skills systems around tackling them. In doing so, it will help and empower individuals, those in work and those wanting to get into work, to get on in their learning, work and life.
Service requirements:
A core offer of labour market focussed careers and skills information and advice. The core offer will provide:
Professional advice and guidance on careers and skills
Access to up to date labour market information
A personal skills assessment/audit
Referral to and from a wide range of relevant and specialist services and agencies
Completion of skills and careers action plan
We are looking for partner organisations who would be interested in supporting Steps to Work in the delivery of this service.
