The Winning Pass earns Samantha £50   

Samantha Added, ““I was so surprised to get a call from WorkWise saying I had won £50 of vouchers! The project has helped me no end, I’m over the moon at winning and can’t wait to go shopping. Thanks WorkWise.”

Samantha first heard about the WorkWise project when she was referred from her local JobCentre Plus. The project enables unemployed people like Samantha to attend interviews, and travel to and from her new job for up to 2 months, supporting the cost of public transport, getting her to and from work.

Samantha took part in the Future Jobs Fund scheme, landing a retail role with the British Heart Foundation, through training provider Ground Work.

Sam needed to buy a bus ticket each day to Wolverhampton from Walsall, everyday, and knew this would become an expense in on its own, which is where the WorkWise project stepped in and offered a supportive hand.

Samantha was entitled to enter a free prize draw once she signed up for her first months pass. Luckily for Sam, her name was drawn, winning a trolley load of high street vouchers (£50) enabling her to treat herself to something special which she otherwise wouldn’t have been able to do.
